In November of 2020, Apple issued a security update for macOS High Sierra, even though it was three versions behind the latest release (Big Sur) at the time. 4, any Mac computer running macOS High Sierra (v10.13) will be blocked from accessing the Fermilab network. Sometimes, Apple will update versions of macOS that fall outside of the two-year cutoff. When EOL occurs, macOS High Sierra will no longer be supported by Apple and therefore will stop receiving security updates.
